We were please to see ex-student Zoe Grail at the end of June. She came back to the College to let us know about her training with the Royal Military Police, and to pass on her experiences to the new recruits at the College.

Visit from Brigadier R W Libbey

The Military Preparation College was recently hosted a visit from Brigadier R W Libbey. This provided an excellent opportunity for the students to demonstrate the diverse range of topics in the syllabus, such as planning for survival, battle tactics, Numeracy and Literacy, public speaking and IT. . The Military Preparation College was very pleased to have the recent honour of a visit by Lietenant Colonel G P Hill Para, Commanding Officer of the Special Forces Recruiting Group. A student is following in family footsteps by signing up to the Army. Kayleigh Williams, 17, of Merthyr Tydfil has spent the last 19 weeks at the Military Preparation College and will now take up a job in the Army. Download full article....

MPC Students Row to Victory

70 students from the Military Preparation Colleges in Rhymney and Cardiff have rowed their way to victory, covering over 200km and raising nearly £600 for Armed Forces charity Help for Heroes. The charity event took place at the Ebbw Vale Festival Park shopping centre. More .
